The South Carolina Supreme Court has exercised its right of original jurisdiction to directly take the Myrtle Beach helmet case brought by Bart Viers and Business Owners Organized to Save Tourism (BOOST). By this action, there will not be a case, then an appeal and eventually the case brought to the Supreme Court. Instead, they are directly taking it over, so hopefully we will get a decision this year instead of years down the road.
