Bikers avoided the city of Myrtle Beach in droves, going instead to North Myrtle Beach and Murrell's Inlet. Now it's "pass the buck" time, or maybe "pass no buck" time.   Bikers, residents and local businesses blame the Mayor.  The Mayor says everything is great.

Many business owners and residents are upset at lost business and the way the bikers were treated, going so far as open protests.  Some said business was down 90%.  North Myrtle Beach and Murrell's Inlet busines owners said business was down somewhat from last year, but still good. They appreciate the city of Myrtle Beach sending business their way!

Mayor John Rhodes says the new rules were a "success".  A success at driving people out of business, that is, because the bikers still had their rally, just not in the city of Myrtle Beach.
