Yes, the shooting that was wrongly blamed on bikers, and led the Myrtle Beach council to try to stop the rallies.  Instead of finding out the truth, and enforcing the existing laws during the rallies, that was their "solution".
"The trial for a Myrtle Beach teen charged in the fatal shooting of a Coastal Carolina University student will begin Monday in a case that ignited the push in Myrtle Beach to change the May motorcycle rallies."
Yes, the shooting that was wrongly blamed on bikers, and led one Myrtle Beach council member to start a movement to stop the rallies.  Instead of finding out the truth, and enforcing the existing laws during the rallies, these new discriminatory ordinances were their "solution".
