Vertical License PlateFellow Bikers,

In 2008 we managed to get a vertical license plate law passed making it legal to have them mounted in such a manner on custom bikes. Well, we're still running into law enforcement personnel that do not know this. The DMV has issued a bulletin stating that it is allowed to mount plates vertically on motorcycles and also have a  copy of the SC Code of Laws with it. If you have a plate mounted like this or know someone who does, you can print a copy of the bulletin to keep on the bike in case you're pulled over. Also feel free to give a couple to your local dealer.
