This is from Harry Kibler with the Rhino hunt group. If anyone can help or has a good relationship with one of these senators please do your best to help. Although this bill is a resolution it is also a symbol of our states conviction to the 10th amendment.

Subject: Emergency Action Needed

****** EMERGENCY ALERT ******

January 13, 2010
Subject:  State Sovereignty
I just received a call from Senator Shane Martin.  The democrats are filibustering the Sovereignty Bill in the Senate.  When a cloture vote was requested the democrats requested adjournment.  A "Roll Call" on adjournment was requested.  Although several Republican Senators were absent today, every Republican Senator that was present voted against adjournment except Jake Knotts.  I was informed that Jack Knotts has never and will never vote for cloture and he has been very consistent in this conviction.  He did however vote against adjournment.
Here is what is needed immediately.
1. Contact Senator Greg Ryberg (R).  He was on leave today and should be back tomorrow.  I have been assured that if he is present he will vote for cloture.  Encourage Senator Ryberg to be present tomorrow and to vote for cloture.  Senator Ryberg's contact information is: Home (803) 648-9357 or Office (803)212-6320
2. Contact Senator William O'Dell (R).  He was also on leave today, but may not be completely on our side and may not vote for cloture.  Please do not treat Senator O'Dell as an opponent because he has a pretty good record.  We just need to make sure he is present and encourage him to vote for cloture.  Senator O'Dell's contact information is: Home (864)943-0905 or Office (803)212-6040
3. Contact Senator Jake Knotts (R).  Although we would have appreciated Senator Knotts' vote for cloture, we must respect his consistency.  We should show our appreciation for him standing with us by voting against adjournment.  Please keep in mind that building a coalition within our Senate is just as important and just as timely as it is in our liberty groups.  Showing our respect for sincerely held convictions against forcing cloture is just as important as pressuring our Senators to vote in favor of State Sovereignty.  He has stated that he is willing to stay night and day until this issue is voted upon and I thank him for that.  His contact information is: Office (803)212-6350 there is no published home number.

If we can get Senator Ryberg and Senator O'Dell to be present tomorrow and vote for cloture, we will have enough votes to stop the filibuster and get a vote on State Sovereignty.  If we get these Senators there tomorrow and vote for cloture, we will also have enough votes to pass the Sovereignty Bill.
This is very important; please take the time to call these Senators immediately.
Thank you,
Harry Kibler
